Once a Tiny Village and Now A Busy Connection
The town of Msida is located just 2.5 kilometres from Valletta.
It was formerly a fishing village. Even though it has become more urbanized, some fishermen continue to operate there. Most of the bay has been transformed into a yacht marina. In most of the town center, land has been reclaimed from the sea after the Second World War. There is a high volume of traffic crossing this area from the harbour region to the rest of Malta.
